If you are unable to install apps from Company Portal, follow these steps.
Symptoms
- Install button does not work
- App installation fails
- Apps remain stuck on "Downloading" or "Installing"
- You receive an error when trying to install an app
Common Causes
- Device is not compliant or fully synced
- Network or connectivity issues
- The app deployment has not fully applied yet
- Temporary issue with Company Portal
Step-by-Step Fix
Try this first
- Close the Company Portal app
- Restart your computer
- Open Company Portal again
Check your connection
- Make sure you are connected to the internet
- Try opening a website (for example, https://google.com)
Try to Install the App Again
- Open Company Portal
- Click Apps
- Select the application
- Click Install again
- Wait a few minutes for the installation to begin
Sync your device
- Open Company Portal
- Click Settings
- Click Sync
- Wait for the sync to complete
- Try installing the app again
Check device compliance
- Click Devices in Company Portal
- Select your device
- Make sure it shows as Compliant or Active
- Resolve any listed issues before trying again

If That Doesn't Work
- Wait 10–15 minutes and try again
- Restart your computer and retry the install
